"Throughout the 1990s, the river moved mainly to the United States. Our rapid economic growth, technological innovation, giant stock market, efficient financial system and relatively transparent business climate made it a logical place for both American and foreign investors to put their money."

A 2007 book about the rich people.
Got it nailed.

Various JPM quotes on Greece.

"We believe that this is the wrong time to be turning neutral/bearish on Greece, and recommend that investors hold their long positions"

"The biggest reasons to buy...Greece suffers from a liquidity issue and not a solvency issue. Its fiscal consolidation measures are aggressive but doable"

Both from 2010-04-09

"We continue to believe that the government is on track to reach its fiscal targets and a debt restructuring over the next 18-24 months is a remote possibility."

From 2010-09-24

"We are generally optimistic about Greece’s ability to tap the bond market in the future..."

"We see the risk of debt restructuring over the next two years as very low"

Both from 2010, didn't note the date

On a half-formed brainfart sent by a phrench bank:

" ps DISCLAIMER: we do not cover any of the names, I have never visited any of teh companies, this is not ressearch but just a sales idea"

The things you own end up owning you.

Guys I do know that this is for "analyst" things, but I have to share this.

and I quote:

"the company is already seeing massive trading volumes and has identified many managers impressively generating between five and 10 “sharpes,” a ratio measuring risk-adjusted returns"

http://pando.com/2014/10/16/calling-all-quants-quantopian-is-launching-a-hedge-fund-and-wants-you-to-manage-the-money/

Let the sharpes begin!

One of my most productive days was throwing away 1000 lines of code.
