So, to keep this relatively brief. I work as an interest rate derivatives sales guy at one of the big banks, but I think I would like to move from the sales side to the trading side. I have been doing it for about 3yrs but find myself more interested in the models and where to start than the actual job. I have a decent amount of experience with computer science, math and econ, but I ended up getting into sales because of the people. I know I need to brush up on material(math, stats, computer science), but I was wondering if anyone had any good reading material to help with the basics of swaptions, caps/floor on rates/curve, etc. I picked up the quant guidebook in the library. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
