In explaining the simulation, 2) what does it mean by selecting the bias? isnt this what we wanted to find?

Off-the-cuff (I haven't read the whole article): this should be the real bias of the coin in this experiment and the value which the algo should eventually converge to.

This value controls the distribution (i.e. asymmetry) of the random numbers that will be generated to train the model.
