Blizzard has released Diablo 4 buy items gameplay launch trailer, which is viewable below.
Set towards the sounds of Billie Eilish’s You Should See Me In A Crown, it showcases various monsters players will encounter in Blizzard’s upcoming action RPG.
Diablo 4 is going to be released on June 6 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4, with cross-play and cross-progression for those platforms.
However, players who buy the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions are going to be able to listen to it from June 1 at 4 pm PST / 7 pm EST (June 2 at 12 am BST).
Blizzard held your final Diablo 4 open beta weekend from May 12-14, giving players access towards the Prologue, the entirety of Act I, and also the first Zone, and allowing them to build a character up to and including Level 20 cap.
It also recently shed more light on Diablo 4 items for sale post-launch content, specifically its Seasons, Battle Pass, and Shop content.
The game’s Seasons – which will appear on a quarterly basis and can add additional features, questlines, items, and balance changes – require the player to accomplish the main Campaign first.
To take into account this, Season 1 will begin in “mid to late July”, giving players time for you to finish the Campaign before it starts.
Each Season includes a new Battle Pass, containing 27 free tiers and 63 premium tiers. The free tiers will contain cosmetics and ‘Smouldering Ashes’ (which may be spent on Season Blessings, which give an XP, Gold, or Obol bonus).
Blizzard stressed the premium tiers “will not provide any in-game power”, and can instead provide cosmetics unique to that particular season, in addition to Platinum.
Platinum may be the game’s premium currency and may be bought with real cash. It can either be spent in the Shop on new cosmetic items or put for the purchase of future Battle Passes.
A premium Battle Pass costs 1000 Platinum (which Blizzard says may be the equivalent of $9.99). An accelerated Battle Pass can also be purchased with 2800 Platinum ($24.99), including 20 tier skips along with a “special cosmetic”. |
