*I* like that (1) it’s used on the OSdev wiki [so, ada, C, and D are my list of systems level langs] (2) audio [latecy sensitive] (3) the community seems nice.

I guess the senior comment about ironpython shows the difference between coding traders and engineers. Engineers should not get haughty about knowing lower level facts because they’re only useful if you enable features and language design that traders want.
